Singapore Sling (1990)

When I was shooting "Singapore Sling", I was under the impression that I was making a comedy with some elements of Ancient Greek Tragedy. Later on, when some critics characterized it as "one of the most disturbing films of all times", I started to feel that something was wrong with me. Then, when British censors banned it, I realized that, after all, something must be wrong with all of us.

Singapore Sling e o comedie horror porn "noir" (de fapt neo-noir) relaxata, in ciuda elementelor suprarealiste si a personajelor freudiene.

Tot spectacolul e un joc erotic by the book: duo criminal incestuos si lesbian, pasionat de role playing si construit pe tipicul "the mad woman in the attic", devine apoi trio cu reminiscente de La Grande Bouffe si de tragedie greaca, in falduri de dantele si cu decor BDSM.

Imaginea e clasic noir, poate putin cam lustruita, dar extrem amuzanta si plina de detalii delicate sau scarboase (pe forumul imdb, cel mai delicios comentariu a fost "My God... ::faintly::... was that a kiwi?"). Yes it was. Se numeste food play ;-)
